Black paw 4×4 Limited is based in the rural location of Holme on Spading Moor, in East Riding of Yorkshire. As Land Rover restoration specialists we specialise in vehicles from 1948 to 1998, and are focused on bringing the classic Land Rover range back to life.

Benjamin Stowe, owner and lead mechanic, has spent the last two decades refining his restoration skills and traditional working practises to rebuild some of the worlds most recognised vehicles. Ben has been featured in every Land Rover magazine over the last ten years and enjoys a national reputation for the high stand of workmanship and quality of work.

Being a true enthusiast Ben is involved with many clubs and groups which keeps the older models on the road. Each year Ben sets off on a trip in his 1949 80” Land Rover to many of Europe’s beauty spots. From the Alpes to French Riviera. Proving that his builds are not just a concourse show pony but reliable enough to cover great distances and work hard as intended 70 years ago.
