Travois is a family owned business, with European/Canadian roots, with over 30 years of  German Automotive experience. Travois is among very few part of Mercedes Benz eXpert solutions upfitter program. 

2015 

-Travois introduces the first 3 point shoulder seat beds and swivels to the North American market. 

-Travois purchases one of the first Canadian 4×4 Sprinters low roofs, and demonstrates the track floor and safety seatbed system.

2016

-Travois purchases and converts the one the first Metris vans, a passenger weekender and full camper, introduces Travois pre B pillar pop top roof system.  (all vehicles that are cut past the B pillar, require full Crash tests, not just a roof pressure crush test, especially passenger van)

2017 

-Travois introduces the first Weekender series, based on the Sprinter 4×4

2018

-Travois receives its Transport Canada’s NSM (National Safety Mark)

-Travois joins RIVA

-Travois joins NTEA

2019 

-Travois becomes a Mercedes Benz expert upfitter

-Travois introduces to North America, FMVSS Safety tested insulated floor and seatbed systems.

2020 

-Travois introduces the Conestoga Camper series, based on the High roof and low roof pop top Sprinter 4×4.

-Travois enters into a cooperation agreement with Calache, to assemble Travois designed Weekender, Evolve and Elevate layouts, using Travois floor and seat bed systems.

2021 

-Travois designs and builds Covid response units for the Metis of North Saskatchewan based on the 4×4 Sprinter. 

-Travois builds search and rescue units based on the 170 4×4 Sprinters.

-Travois designs and builds in partnership, Metris rental units for a European rental van company entering the market in the USA. 

2022 

-Travois participates in the first Mercedes Benz ambassador program in partnership with Calache. 

-Travois introduces the Van Equipped product line in partnership with Travois European partners. Products designed and engineered, tested specifically for the market in North America. 

Travois enters in a new role with research and development with OEM manufactures. 

2023 

-Travois and Calache parts ways, Calache remains a service partner for all USA built vans between 2020 and March 2023.

-Travois signs a momentumental agreement with Commercial Van Solutions, Inc of Lancaster PA to build the very first production series of Travois production vans, featuring Travois exclusive insulated floor and seat bed system, the only tested FVMS 207-210 system in North America.  And floor to ceiling Travois engineered and tested equipement, superlight, tested materials.  Featuring Mercedes Benz, Dodge and Ford Chassis. 

2023 And beyond….
